Eco-Friendly Practices

Reduce: We attempt to reduce plastic – bins made of recycled metal sheets are placed all around the premises. We also promote the use of traditional biodegradable crockery.

Reuse: Almost all of the paper we use is reused. You will often find the other side of the sheet with unrelated content from its earlier use :)

Recycle: Our old linen has been recycled into cushions, in room quilt bags, and in room slipper bags. Our rooms have recycled cane baskets, glass bottle dispensers for hand wash and body soap, steel / brass buckets (at the reception), cotton block print cloth laundry bags, we are constantly looking at ways to cut on plastic usage.

We support and use local hand block prints for furnishings, curtains and linen.

During your stay, we request you to please be rational in your usage of water & electricity. You can refill your water bottles with Aquaguard filtered drinking water provided in the Cafe to reduce the use of single use plastic water bottles.

If you wish, you can leave your clothes and shoes with us to be donated to the needy. We will be glad to help someone on your behalf.
