Rooms unlike the ‘cookie-cutter’ pattern, comfortable accommodation that is equipped with all modern amenities including air conditioners, ceiling fans encased in decorative local art work, writing desks, a fridge, safe deposit at the reception, LCD TVs with cable channels, a wardrobe, seating area, electric kettle with tea making kits, king size double beds/ twin beds (the beds are a modern interpretation of the traditional charpoys, woven in the sparkly recycled food wrapper ropes), an intercom telephone, over-head showers, 24 hours running hot and cold water to name a few.
The entire property has numerous lounge and open garden spaces with extensive greenery (no chemicals used in the garden)! Very ventilated, vibrant earth-toned colours and plenty of natural light, the building has been painted in traditional lime wash, which helps the building and you breathe better, by keeping toxic paints at bay.
All rooms flaunt the local artisanal work. Jaipuri printed bedspreads, covering sheets, pillow covers, quilts, in support of the local crafts like blue pottery (available via reception on request). You’ll also find aesthetic stencil decor in many rooms and the occasional bird, peacock, elephant or camel decorating the glass window panel.
